Responsibilities:
Lifedoc Health, whose mission is to build healthier communities by preventing diabetes and obesity through healthcare and research, is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. The PNP would specialize in seeing toddlers, adolescents, and young adults for diabetes and obesity management. This position serves as an integral member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality evidence-based diabetes and obesity care to our patients.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat new and existing patients while focusing on wellness and preventive medicine to minimize health concerns
- Collaborate with Physicians and other medical personnel when needed
- Help to form treatment plans and education information about specific conditions related to child growth and development
- Prescribe medication and order immunizations
- Follow all clinical and employee protocols
- Refer patients and patents for consultations when needed
- Prescribes medications and other treatments
- Complete all notes in patient’s EMR to indicate patient medical status and treatment procedures performed
- Performs other duties that will aid in the quality care of the patient
Experience, Certification, License and Skills:
- Current, unrestricted Pediatric Nurse Practitioner license in TN
- Prior experience as APRN or PA in /diabetes and obesity management or Internal or Family Medicine or Primary Care with focus on chronic conditions is preferred
- Strong medical background and a desire to support growing multi-specialty and multidisciplinary group
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Committed to providing compassionate and patient centered care
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to use exceptional team- based approach in all aspects of clinical duties
- Nurse Practitioner certification a plus (Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care or Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 – $134,000.00 per year
